I've backed the lad so many times this season, inside and outside the ground.
The 1st save was outstanding, simply brilliant.
This place isn't the real world. There's way too many that wouldn't know a decent player if they gave them a slap across the cheeks. There's been folk wanting the manager sacked halfway through the game today. Do everyone a favour, log off and don't bother signing back on.

To balance that out a little, even the Sky commentators said how Sunderland have a deep history of goalkeeper saves at this stadium, and mentioned the recent Montgomery stand naming. They knew it was good...

His critics are utter fuckwits. Some don’t even concede that his a very good shot stopper choosing to focus on puerile ‘Fatto’ type comments. Others might say he’s a decent shot stopper as if it’s not a particularly important part of his job.
