Pitch invasion - EFL

Tbf some the Burnley pitch invaders went on to be aggressive wankers towards the oppo and their coaching staff, which isn’t on. Ours went on, still stupidly maybe, out of sheer jubilation and to my knowledge weren’t acting like dicks to anyone.
Some were.

Definitely in the minority of the pitch invaders, but some did quickly go to the Coventry lot.

One thing I noticed last night, considering how many had their shirts off, is how many fat young lads there are these days. Mid-teens, and obese. Tits, the lot. Not even old enough to drink, so can't be blamed on alcohol. Manky.

Ballard has just smashed us all the way to Wembley and you're looking at teenage lads tits.....strange reaction

A lifetime ban for that is madness like a slap on the wrist and a few months should be enough.

If they have attacked people etc fair enough but those just running on isn’t that bad

Minimum 3 year ban these days if NP apply for one after conviction...

Ffs man was just kids letting off steam
We did same back in 1992 after the Chelsea cup semi and had a massive flag on us

Remember that, managed to get out the mainstand paddock…..looked up and a steward locked eyes and made a beeline for me, back in the paddock I went :)

I did laugh at Mayenda last night, he was like the pied piper leading them all back to the stand!

Fair enough mate I hadn’t seen that. Mind my focus was just enjoying the moment. Those that did can’t have many complaints if that happens then, although I’d still think a slap on the wrist is enough as long as they didn’t physically harm anyone.

Mixed feelings

Yes it could be dangerous but it was hardly the most mental pitch invasion

Then you've got the Sky team on the pitch keeping cutting back to an over excited presenter screaming about the "scenes"

Hope no one gets in bother at work unless they did something bad

Aye they forget that the football banning orders were used to tackle hooligans they abuse the powers of the banning order

To be fair with there been so many they might just get taken to court and convicted / fined. Problem is it's a Cat A fixture so plenty coppers with cameras. Nothing to do with the club. I'd be worried anyway if I was one of them.

I get people who get carried away in celebration. But people doing it and taking selfies for social media should get a ban anyway.

Personally I’d say a slap on the wrist is deserved for those that only entered the pitch, but a ban should be given to those that went across to the Coventry lot.

No reason to goad them whatsoever, and could have ended up very nasty imo.

Love it when fans spill onto the pitch me. Happened pretty much every game during celebrations of a goal against the Mags. They used to be seething about it
There’s spilling on the pitch which everyone can understand but some were taking the piss running on way after the initial explosion. I saw two women and their bairn running around being chased ffs. Stupid after the first bit of celebration and anyone that went towards cov players should be instantly banned that’s just stupid and could’ve caused a riot ffs

Aye I understand that and as I say those who did can’t really complain. Would still be a slap on the wrist and card marked over future behaviour though for me, and same for the Burnley ones. It’s stupidity and borderline dangerous, but not exactly in the category of mindless violence.

Well to be fair mate, I couldn't miss them considering how absolutely massive and bouncy they were. Burger nips and belly dimples on teenagers man. Absolutely rank. Kier Starmer wants to block the sun? He should recruit a few of those young 'uns on the pitch last night, and stick them on reinforced plinths in the sky.

Fair enough marra, I just can’t understand the thinking behind going on the pitch and risking a ban in the first place tbf.

I know it’s an emotional moment but it’s not worth the risk at all.
