Aye he bowled marvellous eventually but prior to that ball to Clark he hadn’t looked very threatening and even the commentators were prattling on about him filling in only until new ball was due

I know what they say but it’s not for me.
If a batsman is 99 not out at close of innings and then scores runs in the next innings, is he credited with a century?
