I'll be very disappointed if it cannot be illuminated Red & White after home games....and when we win a trophy in about 30 years time.

Yes, it will certainly be able to be illuminated different colours. Whether they do every night is another thing.

Sunderland City Council are inviting the Public to suggest NAMES for the £31 million Riverside Footbridge which opens this summer. Its going to make access far easier to and from the Stadium of Light and will provide a real buzz on match days. Question is "Should the bridge NAME be connected with the Stadium of Light? What about our history, Sunderland Shipbuilders, Mining History ,or maybe Sunderland`s outstanding people. ?

Any suggested names connected with the Club ??.
