He has a go at confronting the issues, but I don't agree with these bits:

The mags absolutely, emphatically chose this. Really irritates me that they get completely off the hook for their behaviour.
This bit is good - hope his journalist colleagues who it is addressed to pay some attention:
"Blindly cheerleading journalism is undoubtedly a route to popularity, clicks, affirmation. But it also represents complicity in the process."
