Craft Beer

Agree on the Magnet. Our climbing club has a monthly pub meet in there. It reminds you what pubs used to be like - just a good busy boozer with fine beer.
Stretching it for the Manchester area a bit, but have you been to the little bar at the end of the platform at Stalybridge station? Definitely worth a visit if you are out that way.
Stalybridge buffet bar is fantastic, perfect station pub. Brilliant choice on offer when I went. Been meaning to go back for ages

me too. Any recommendations
Sheffield Tap, Rutland Arms, Hop Hideout, Crow Inn, Shakespeare’s, Kelham Island Tavern, The Fat Cat. If you fancy a decent Guinness then Fagan’s was good, we ended up having 3 at the end of the night :)

There’s also Triple Point (which I thought was fairly average when I last went), Vocation and SALT though I didn’t go to these last weekend.

Keeping an eye on this one.

Are these all craft type establishments?

Everything mentioned above. Rutland Arms is the best in the city. My favourite pub is probably the Gardeners Rest though. They keep their cask so we'll and it's a cracking place.

Consider St Mars of the Desert too if you want to do a taproom. They're great.
Added those to the list for next time, whenever that may be.

Nice one.

Her: can we not go anywhere without you dragging me into a f***ing industrial estate for beers in a cold warehouse?

Me. Nor.

In heist now. They’ve got one of them screens that shows your check in on Untappd. How childish would it be to change your profile to a Sunlun badge and fill it up?

Bridge Hotel ticking over nicely. Been working my way through some of the offerings. Lovely beer from The Kernel. Blackwave superb as always too. First time I've had the Tropical Krush (can), rather pleasant and this bitter is doing as it should. West Coast job is a must, my fave style of beer when done right and was superb last time. Then that'll be me.

Absolutely tremendous pub.

Empty when I walked in not long after you posted that, was looking forward to some Mows spotting.

Tropical Krush is on now, lovely, Clwb Tropica as it used to be, slightly less sweet, but a cracking tropical pale because of that.

Squad of six gadgies still there, first table to the left as you walk in? They were putting it away

Ah bugger, was hoping it'd be on tap.

The can I had was a bit disappointing, a bit flat. I’m looking forward to trying it on keg

Can from rehills earlier, haven't had that yet. Keg was lovely, fresh on. Clwb from 5 years ago, with a more bitter backbone.

Nope. One lass at the bar talking to Ethan.

In the airport coming home from Madrid now.

The lads found a craft beer place on the first night, but I was in bed passed reet out by that point. Was in an Irish Bar yesterday that had a few things in the fridge. Had a Sam Smiths Chocolate stout & Taddy Porter. Swerved the impys as that would have been silly. Hobgoblin stout on tap which was canny.

Most of the time it was just local lager. Mahou I think it was called.

Canny few days. Typing this having my fourth shit today. My ring piece is in bits.

Love a few days in Madrid. It has a pretty good craft beer scene too.

I was in Tamworth the other day. Had a few in Tamworth Tap which is a great pub. The Kings Ditch was canny although really small. Canny little place and some decent pubs.
