Tom Cannon bid in - now signed for Sheff U.

I liked the idea of signing Cannon, particularly if it had been a loan with an option to buy but my opinion is based upon a very small amount of data/actual experience of watching the player.

The opinion of someone who has watched the player for half a season is far more relevant.

If Wilder plays him alongside Moore in a front 2 then he'll do well. That said, having seen Cannon at his best and Campbell at his best, if he's playing a front 2 i'd play Campbell alongside Moore all day long. Quicker, more direct and frankly a far better finisher. I'd play Brereton alongside Moore before Cannon too.

Cannon will score goals for sure, even if he's up front on his own but as you saw last night and as I saw all season so far, and as you've seen with your own forwards you just need more than a poacher these days. There needs to be more strings to a forwards bow than just dobbing in the odd goal here and there.

Unless your Haaland

I still don’t know what our plan was if we signed him?

Règis has made it clear recently he dosent like 442, he’s never played Wilson LW even when we have been desperate and I don’t think Cannon is as good as Wilson.

I also don’t think we would spend that much for a sub but that can be the only answer.

Moore would have been ideal for us on Saturday when hull were asking us to put the ball in the box.

We absolutely needed another striker, but many could see at the time that he wasn't the answer.

I'm so glad he went to them lot as its the kind of signing we've made plenty of over the years.
He was never worth £13 million quid Leicester must have laughed at Sheffield United for paying it
