*~*~* Sunderland v Luton match thread *~*~*

Very comfortable win.

Don’t think anyone had a poor game tonight.

Luton are a horrid team though. Ref gave them far too many let offs particularly against jobe
He is specifically targeted for snidey fouls mind. I'm amazed refs don't know what's going on, all season long...

Boro getting beat is a Positive to me like, of course I'd like to go up Automatically but that's a bit unlikely, so would prefer Boro ending up mid table & that sad Geordie getting sacked

Good result tonight but I don't understand Le bris at times we're far too passive when we get a lead and mistakes start to creep in with extra touches. He should be pushing them forward for more goals. We end up getting sloppy. Mayenda is a breath of fresh air when he comes on he should be starting games. I know we won but overpassing it and sitting back too much.

Same as happened to us
Was just reading about their history and league positions. Their promotion to the top flight was a bit of lightning in a bottle. Seem to historically be a L2 club.
I remember them saying they wouldn’t be splashing the cash in the PL but would take the windfall and reinvest in the club. Good on them if that’s how it pans out.

Good win, we were ok but they were pretty dreadful. I still think we can play a lot better. I do think Chris Rigg needs a rest mind.
