Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

But he has had a look in and he has looked brilliant before his injury. Brighton aren’t daft and know that anymore game time will increase his value, getting him for that would be a bargain.
They're good at it. The buggers even managed to turn a profit on Billy Gilmour after spending about £8m on him.

Find it all a bit depressing losing our best players and brightest prospects to clubs like Southampton, Ipswich and Brighton but we are where we are.

If we can invest the proceeds wisely hopefully it won't be like this for much longer.
it is

but there are factors here that have to be risked managed

1. length of his residual contract (18months)
2. upfront fees, incentives and sell on fees
3. players motivation to stay
4. agent influence
5. last safc contract offer and difference between it and the players expectation

points 1 to 3 must be weighing heavy on safc mind... point 5 seems like were miles apart

part from him or his agent nobody at safc wants this .. but we have to make it work for us

People on here stating they wouldn’t sell and try to convince him to sign a new deal man. The same people who’d be slating the club if we did just that and he still refused to sign a new contract and went for nout at the end of said contract
