I am waiting to see a Brighton scarf round Watson neck.
He is a Sunderland player with great potential and I would pick him over Clarke and yes he does need minutes to reach that potential.
He is better off getting them now than in the premier.

If Clarke isn't thinking about his future and his development right now ...think he should be. Its another spurs type situation where the manager doesn't rate you enough

That’s why I’ve asked the question. Having a look through his posting history he made some inappropriate comments on a thread about religion which were ban-worthy.

I hope he’s not been banned just for his views on SAFC because not everyone has to agree.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Get a decent player and see how he fits in without too much risk to the clubs capital should the player not fit/settle. Terrible way of looking to improve the squad while minimising risk. KLD and Speakman in !

Ah right well it’s probably the former then.
 
All I know regards Clarke is that the longer he is just sat on the bench the more likely he will just stagnate as a player and the level he reached last season will be his ceiling. He needs minutes and he needs them now. If his agent has even the slightest interest in his player other than financial then he should be looking to get him on the move and if that’s the case then he only has the option of here. I love Mundle and Watson and recent.y have said that I would rather stick with these lads, but the reality is Mundle is only just returning from injury and will take a little settling back in and if Watson goes then we are in a tough spot. I’m not usually for players returning as it doesn’t usually go the same second time round but if Clarke were available on loan we would be idiots to not consider it.
