To sell Watson would be a mistake, unless it was silly money.
Can’t wait for the window to shut to be honest.
Can only assume that contract talks haven't gone well. If so, then we are best off selling now as once you are in the last 12 months any sale value plummets.
Shame if so, his potential is excellent and in his limited games he has looked very good this year. But when all fit I would start Mundle ahead of him currently who is also still fairly young and also has potential to improve. So not the end of the world if we get a decent fee for him.

Would be a relief if he stayed and then signed a contract extension, even if it was just for another year until Summer 2027.
Then from his side, if he has an eye on moving sooner rather than later, he wouldn't be tied to us for a long time.
From our side, gives us a bit more breathing space regarding negotiating a decent fee, maybe in the Summer.
Tricky one this, suppose we will see over the next 60 hours how much Brighton want him, how much we want him to stay and what the lad himself feels about it all.

Personally i think its a bad move to sell Watson at this point in the season I think the fans would be ok with it in the summer but not now!If he does go it will be spinned that he asked to leave and the club had no option but to sell !If we sell watson and buy a couple of ready to play forwards and we get promoted all will be forgotten but if we sell and get a couple of nomark loans and fail to get promoted well i think it will be seen as a terrible decision to sell!

Based on his impact before his injury I think this lad is going to be a serious player. He has it all , pace, physique and touch. Love him to stay. If he had snot been injured we would be top of the league as he offers balance and goals.I hope you're right.
