Patto

How do you know O'Nein did not give the shout "my ball"?
Irrelevant an experienced keeper directs him to leave it and claims it . Can’t half see who has and hasn’t been involved with football at a decent level. The keeper should be organising the defence in situations like that and barged Onien out the way if needs be to claim it

What 7 keepers in the championship would you take over him?
Johansson & Trafford for a start, I think 100% of our fans would agree.

I personally would also take Pears from Blackburn, Cooper from Sheff Utd & Palmer from West Brom.

That's 5 just from personal preference, without even going into who I would take simply based on the fact they're statistically better than him.
One notable save to make? A blinder that meant we concede 0 instead of 1. Which meant we got 1 point instead on nil. Aside from that he did a great save diving amongst bodies stopping a tap in from a cross, caught everything catchable and punched everything clear that needed to be.

Fair play to Trafford performance but that's irrelevant.
Other than the save from Roberts early on, he had little else of note to do

So that’s 5 and pears is nowhere near as good as him. If you’re having a meltdown about pattersons distribution then you will need locking up over johannsons. I do think he’s a good keeper by the way but isn’t good with his feet.

On what basis?

He has one more clean sheet, a higher save % and a much higher goals prevented.

He has also played more games so Patterson has a better percentage of clean sheets. Patterson takes more crosses and is better with his feet and that seems to be the 2 things that everyone is crying about.

That's because you weren't watching or chose to ignore because you wanted to. That's what you do when you have a preconceived view of a keeper- he did way more than the one save. He was excellent. The finger tip save off Anthony (or Roberts if you say so) is also a bit like saying Trafford did nowt apart from saving two penalties. You are just randomly picking goalkeeper you never see and know nowt about

Yep

Some of the posts are staggering

You’re wasting your time giving reasonable responses marra. They don’t deserve that respect.

Stoke City, Johansson (sp), Sweden international goalie is the only current championship keeper, who is as good or better than Patterson atm, imho who i have. Some of the saves he made against us were very good.

The Burnley keeper, made two penalty saves... okay... but imho Burnley defends a lot better than us or Stoke, so he has fewer saves make!

Put Trafford in our team or Leeds team and that team wins the league.

I don't agree - Burnley defend as a unit and he is massively well protected. He decent enough and as good as there is in this league but you aren't seeing him make the errors other keepers are because they defend so well as a unit. Last year when he was more exposed there were plenty of times when he looked poor.
