At this present moment in time Patterson is more than fine...one of the supposed best keepers (Cooper at Sheff Utd) in the division was atrocious on Friday night, especially his kicking.

It's a bit pathetic really isn't it? We play in the 2nd tier and people are moaning about a keepers distribution.

Any keeper with good distribution is playing for a top club as it's so in demand.

What do people actually expect from an EFL goalkeeper?

I honestly think he’s a very good goalkeeper. Yep, sometimes his kicking isn’t the best but like you say we are playing a level below the best in country.

Their 2nd goal yesterday was a mixture of horrendous defending from both Mepham and O’Nien.

Organises the defence better than silent Bob and can command his area far better. Both Patto & Moore possess glaring deficiencies. I say give Blondy a go?

Most of his poor kicks are clearances near halfway. His first touch and short passing are fine.

He did a low howler of a clearance yesterday but pulled off a pretty routine catch after it.

His poor clearances don't cost us goals.

Patterson is also being asked to hit the full back on the touchline. Any sort of over hit and its out of play, it's hardly a surprise a decent amount go out of play.

Is Patterson the finished product? Absolutely not. But he's the best keeper at the club.

There’s this weird thing about Moore on here I don’t get. I think it’s more that some have decided Patterson is the devil for whatever reason.

It makes sense compared to some of the shite i hear at the match.

Patto is dog shite and we should sell him to Liverpool for 15m because Dan Cameron and Adam Richardson are both better (despite the fact they aren't even our first choice at u21 level)
 
Why do people feel the need to lie? His kicks ALWAYS go to the opposition or out of play. Just a complete lie isn’t it? His distribution is ALWAYS dreadful. More bullshit. Watch the game and see one thing and type a massive pile of shit on here when the toys are flying about
