*~*~* Sunderland v Plymouth match thread *~*~*

Have a look at the league table and stop talking shit.

Hull hammered SU, who are top two, at their own place yesterday. Are they miles off as well?
shit league, thats the only reason we're anywhere near. Another poor performance, but the usual "take the points when we play poor" crops up time and again

Why?

The lineup and the set up was questionable.
Performance was mostly abject.

The subs and defensive nature at the end contributed to losing points.

Bring defensive players on and invite pressure and then still fail to stop crosses or deal with high balls into the box.

Any criticism today has been brought on by selection and in game subs and tactics.
Spot on.

When the second went in we should be going for a third against a demoralized side.

Instead we invite them on and give them encouragement.

For me Neil and Luke are our weak links. I'd drop them both for Enzo and Ballard. Mayenda or Aouchiche can replace Enzo on the left.

Agree, Le Bris has deserved his praise this season but he deserves a lot of criticism today, his selection and subs were dreadful

Again, this is the league we are in. Are we “miles off” the top two in some other league you are thinking about?

It’s a stupid thing to say, by a poster who is so relentlessly negative he’s either a troll or a moron.

Just goes to show it can take a few months to really judge a player. Mepham really leveling out now and wouldn’t have him in the Prem if we got there. His pass that led to them hitting the post?? And where were he and O’Nein when Plymouth missed that sitter of a header?
