Tom Cannon bid in - now signed for Sheff U.

Not sure he's got it for the Premier League, which is where Sheff. Utd. are going to be next season, could end up being a poor signing for them.

He’ll be playing in the championship again in 12 months. If they go up I can see him being loaned out again.

If there was genuine interest from us I think we would have given him more of a chance

Good signing for them as is Brereton Diaz. They’re still looking to bring another couple in before deadline day too.

No guarantee that this will improve them but you’d imagine they will.

There was but we were never going to pay what Sheff Utd paid for him

On the Second Tier podcast they said their new board member was the bloke who produced the Avengers films!
Really hope they can fck up but it’s hard to see it. Same with Leeds but you just never know

Aye I heard that. Only started listening to it recently. Seems a decent pod

Hopefully to us.
I have a feeling SU are going all out for another round of parachute payments.

Trying to spend their way to promotion, with no view to staying up.

He’s a very limited player for the price they will be paying.

The Championship is becoming more like the Premier League every season with the top clubs always being able to outspend everyone else.

Good signing for Championship level but at 10m not sure he'd have been worth it for us, as think he's not good enough right now for premier league and Mayenda and Isidor are linking up great.
I'd have been happy if we'd signed him but there's better value out there and we just need some luck with injuries

Hopefully to us.

Leeds will find it tougher if they don't go up this season as the money starts to dry up.
Burnley have had new owners.
Sheffield broke FFP and now have parachute money.
Just lucky Luton spent alot of their money on infrastructure and not the playing squad
Parachute payment helps
Looking forward to them fitting their 5 strikers into the team...1 of them has to be getting moved on
Cannon, Diaz, brewster, Campbell + AN
