Tom Cannon bid in - now signed for Sheff U.

22 year old
With all minutes combined he's played just less than a full season of championship football
19 goals and 3 assists.

Absolutely baffling that some are turning there nose at a proven record like that - A goal contribution every other game.
Sounds class so why are they not keeping him.I think we are going up and he is nowhere near prem quality

I'd rather loan to buy Frigan than sign Tom Cannon now on a perm. (I think)...

I thought 7m was fair but going up to 10, nah not for me

I'd be quite pleased if we got him for less than £10m, don't get the hate tbh

People really struggle with inflation on here it seems. 7m isn’t really a huge deal for a striker with a decent championship record.

What’s even more weird as people wanted 30m+ for, Clarke and think Jobe and Rigg wouldn’t go for less than 50m 😂.

Haway man.

Not a chance would i be paying 7mil plus for cannon, if we do get promoted we would just be in the same boat as Leicester trying to flog him again.
Yes but the big question is could he make the difference in going up. If so not a problem needing to sell him we are on a different level financially

It is a lot.

It's just that every club in this division spend too much and well out of their means, to the point that £7m doesn't seem too much. How on earth, in a division where FFP allows you to 'only' lose £13m per season, can a £7m transfer be seen as 'not a huge deal'?

someone reckons they have rejected 7.5m already so it's only gonna get higher if the person is to be believed
