Jack Clarke

Don’t mean to be arsey at all but I find it very hard to believe Leeds are concerning themselves with summer purchases right now not knowing what division they’ll be in. You would assume their entire focus will be on promotion and signing players to help them achieve that.

Found it a bit bizarre myself mate, unless it’s Harte doing some fishing and Leeds have nibbled.

He is keen to come back up north though so might be something in it

Leeds have enquired about taking him on loan - he's interested as he wants to be back up North and hasnt settled down there at all.

We've shown no interest.
They haven’t because they’ll know he can’t play for three teams in a season.

It’ll not be for next season either because they’ll be hoping to go up and he hasn’t made the step up.

Why stunt Mundles and Watsons (who I believe has a higher ceiling then Clarke) development to accommodate Clarke because the grass hasn’t been greener for him? Wish him well he was brilliant for us but the other 2 lads have stepped up and we look a better all round team without him!
Because as we are seeing right now injuries can leave us without either Mundle or Watson. We definitely need another proper winger, if only to replace or backup Roberts. Mundle and Watson can both play RW as well as LW if we get Clarke (we won't).

Been very unlucky. Also both Watson and Mundle are much less effective on the right. Both will be fit by the end of the window, the time when if the slim chance of Ipswich loaning Clarke out would happen. Agree we need another right winger though but needs to be someone with genuine pedigree out there to push us on!

Obviously puts us in a bit of strong position if they/ he did want to leave this window………..

I loved Clarky but we were frighteningly one dimensional with him in the team.

As you say the other lads have stepped up and we don't really rely on the left sided winger as much as we used to. It's far more balanced a set up presently.

I wish him well as he was solid gold for us... but its best not to look backwards.

Philogene to Ipswich agreed. Leaves Clarke in a very precarious position. I do now wonder if the temptation may be there for a 6 month loan should the opportunity arise considering we are his only option! Infact Harte will be on the phone as we speak begging for his return! 👀

Just about exactly what I was typing.....

I also think Mundle is better, or at the very least the same quality as Clarke, (who has now stagnated a bit since joing Ipswich). A fit Mundle in a few weeks is a better option.

Watson has great potential and could end up top, top draw player if he develops over the next seasons. If we get Clarke back, Watson will get limited opportunity.

All in all, I would't want Clarke back...... the money grabbing traitor 😉

It would be incredibly unfair to Mundle and Watson to drop down in the pecking order for Clarke again.

I'd have Clarke back in a heartbeat. Mundle was doing well, but theres no guarantees he comes back and hits the ground running again. Watson looks like he might be out for a while yet too so he can't be relied on at the moment and nor should he.

I doubt Ipswich would let him go on loan, but let's not kid ourselves in thinking IF there was a possibility that he wouldn't be another big asset in us challenging the automatic spots.

You could argue we don't have either of those at the moment.
Though I'd try and somehow get rid of poveda and sign someone who actually improves or atleast challenges the rw

I’m sorry but I disagree. Mundles had 10 decent games in his career, Clarke did it consistently for 2.5 years and didn’t miss a game once
