Enzo Le Fee 🇨🇵 Signed!

I think this would be a great signing.

6 month loan + option to buy would do nicely.
If we pull it off, i think that has to be the deal in place. Sort of a win-win for Roma, if he comes in and impresses and we dont go up, there will be other interest in him. I cant see him failing in the system and Le Bris has worked with him previously so it seems a no brainer. Whether we can attract that kind of player remains to be seen, but a few years ago Wolves managed to persuade Ruben Neves to go from captaining Champions League Porto to a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid, to come to the championship so never say never

The ONLY way we will get this guy in here this January, is if Jobe or Rigg are on their way out!

Or Samed returns to his parent club, or we are looking ahead to next season. Browne might be out for longer than expected. Others could be moved on to free up space in the squad such as Rusyn and Ba.

Brighton owe their owner about 400m pounds.
Correct, but either way they still made a boatload of profit from player sales which was more my point, the profit we get will allows us to pay higher fees. Also the 100m bonus you get for promotion will help too. That said we won't spend 50m on one player for a long long time but I reckon 20-25m etc

We absolutely would, if for some reason a player like that became available to us (and we were in the PL). At this stage though anyone like that would laugh in our face, so it's a moot point.
We're so far off spending 50M on a single player. Of course it's something that could happen way down the line if we were established in the PL and towards the top of the table but it's absolutely ridiculous to mention it as something we'd do right now.

We're not even big spenders at Championship level.
I haven't though, the club have made 8 figure bids for random strikers while we're in the Championship. Absolute bullshit that we won't spend money, we're in a thread for a lad who'd cost 20m and we're not even in the Prem yet.
Nobody has said we won't spend money.

Spending money is totally different to spending £50M on Ethan Nwaneri though. Or any single player.

There's absolutely nothing in any of our transfer business which remotely points to us doing something like that any time soon.

Just reading the last few pages, there's going to be some angry folk kicking off if/when the club don't spend the likes of 70/80m going up.

There's absolutely nothing to suggest the club will go all out and spend the majority of money that's just come through the door on high transfer fees and high wages. The club just doesn't run like that. If they spend around 30/40m in total, the board will see that as a huge outlay to the squad.

Unless KLD gets some wealthy investors on board with some serious backing, it'll just be business as usual at the club with young talent, free transfers and loans, which tbf, they've been pretty decent at.

People need to understand how much transfer fees have increased since we were last in the Prem. 14 out of the current PL teams have spent 40m or more on a single player. If a promoted club stays there, that's the sort of going rate you need to spend to push on
Scares the hell out of me that.

If we get promoted we might not be too far off. Forest paid (25m rising to 42m) for Gibbs-White 2.5 years ago. Granted he looks very good now but at the time that fee was frowned upon. Newcastle sold that Anderson for 30m this summer. 30-40m is the going rate for a mid to high premier league player now
Some People's optics are limited to the here and now.. which I get

but some say itll never happen is naive

RLB Is the ace in the whole ... roma might get better offers on terms of wage assistance and loan fee .... but the play seems to like Regis
The players seem to like him
