Enzo Le Fee 🇨🇵 Signed!

theres no way we pay 20 million for a player. and we wouldnt be paying mega wages either..just pure fantasy bollocks

loan maybe, but then will the player fancy going from Roma to the championship?
Seria A hasn’t got a pot to piss in. By comparison the Championship is far more lucrative as one of the richest leagues is above us.
Probably the only way it would work. But would Rigg / Jobe be happy with rotation? Neil as the captain would be hard to rotate.
If they get transferred they won’t be playing week in week out either.

Has any team got promoted to the prem in the last decade and not bought players for big fees? Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester all spent 80 million plus this summer.

I seriously doubt we'd be spending those types of figures mind. Probably a more conservative 20/30m on a mix of more younger talent and free transfers.

A loan deal until the end of season, with an agreed price obligation purchase if promoted. Similar to the Wilson deal I suspect. Seems he has close relationship with RLB.

AI's opinion on how likely he is to sign and how well he'd do:

Realism of Signing for Sunderland:
Current Interest: There have been reports and discussions on social platforms indicating that Sunderland has made inquiries about signing Enzo Le Fée from AS Roma. This interest seems to stem from an explicit request by Sunderland's coach, Régis Le Bris, who previously worked with Le Fée at Lorient. This connection could facilitate the transfer, suggesting there is some level of realism in this move. However, several factors need consideration:
Transfer Fee: Le Fée was bought by Roma for around €23 million, suggesting his market value is still high. Sunderland, being in the Championship, might not have the financial muscle to match what Roma would expect in a transfer fee, especially for a player of Le Fée's caliber unless it's a loan deal or Roma agrees to a significantly reduced fee due to his limited playing time.
Player's Ambition: Given Le Fée's profile and the interest he's garnered from other clubs, including Real Betis, his ambition might lie in continuing in one of Europe's top leagues rather than moving to the Championship, which is the second tier of English football.
Roma's Position: Roma's willingness to let him go, especially in the middle of the season, depends on their squad needs, financial situation, and the player's own desire for more playing time.

Performance in the Championship:
Adaptability: Le Fée has shown versatility and quality in Ligue 1, one of Europe's competitive leagues. His skills in passing, vision, and tactical understanding could translate well to the Championship, where technical ability combined with work rate can be particularly effective.
Strengths: His ability to control the game's tempo, distribute the ball effectively, and contribute defensively would be assets in the Championship, where many teams rely on physicality but also value technical midfielders who can dictate play.
Challenges: The Championship is known for its grueling schedule and physical demands, which might initially challenge Le Fée, given that his physicality has been noted as an area for improvement. However, his football intelligence and adaptability could help him adjust.
Impact:
If Le Fée were to sign for Sunderland, he could potentially become a pivotal player in their midfield, offering creativity and control that could elevate their promotion push. His previous experience under Le Bris could also mean a smoother integration into the team's tactics.
However, the transition from Serie A to the Championship might require some adaptation, particularly in terms of the game's pace and physicality. His performance would likely hinge on how quickly he can adapt to these differences.

Given the information available, while a transfer to Sunderland isn't out of the realm of possibility, especially with the coach's connection, the financial and ambition factors make it less than certain. If he does move to Sunderland, his impact could be significant, potentially making him one of the standout players in the league, assuming he adapts well to the Championship's style of play.

The player has grown tired of waiting for the Andalusians when they had already agreed everything with Roma
