Enzo Le Fee 🇨🇵 Signed!

We had the mandatory YouTube compilation video yet seen as 95% of this board won’t have heard of him until this link, including myself?!

In what sense?

Yes he can for sure, which is why I'd be reluctant to predict what role he might play. It'll depend on where the coaches think he can add most value. That might be using his ability to get around the field or controlling play with his excellent passing or both etc.
The model seems to be backfilling with youth, let them grow into the role and sell them. Rinse and repeat.

Or rolling the dice on damaged goods or out of favour players for cut price.

At 20m he breaks precedent

theres no way we pay 20 million for a player. and we wouldnt be paying mega wages either..just pure fantasy bollocks

loan maybe, but then will the player fancy going from Roma to the championship?

The report is we're looking at a loan.

Amad Diallo came here under the model and he cost 30 million.
We didn’t have two of the UK’s best young prospects in front of him though. I’m pretty sure a loan deal for that level of player would require him to start when available

He's not playing for Roma. If he wants another move, he'll need regular football to get in the shop window. That's more likely here than there.

All we know is the reports are that Betis approached Roma to enquire about a loan and that we've also made approaches.

If there's any truth that than presumably Roma/the player are willing to have him go somewhere else loan given he's not getting into their team at the moment.

I don't really expect it to happen but I don't think it's any different to Amad, in terms of a player with a high transfer value who isn't in the first team squad and could do with a loan move.

Issue you have is what happens if we go up.

We have a model for the championship but that includes experienced/underused players on loan

Especially this season (see Wilson/Mepham)

If we do a deal where Roma get their money back if we go up I think it could happen.

Lad wants to play and loves Regis

See him filling in for Rigg actually, allowing us to rotate the youngest player in our squad

Don't think we would be spending 20 million on players

Probably the only way it would work. But would Rigg / Jobe be happy with rotation? Neil as the captain would be hard to rotate.

Not sure tbh something to manage but we play a lot of games and he needs to freshen the team up

Beginning of the season was Rigg off on 60 for Browne

Since then we've had no midfield cover

Just can't see it with kld hope I'm wrong like
I don't think it would be most signings like Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton have done, but wouldn't be surprised to see one or two JC type bids along with increasing the amount we spend for the younger project players, similar to Alesic and Abdullahi following some sales.

Has any team got promoted to the prem in the last decade and not bought players for big fees? Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester all spent 80 million plus this summer.

Here you go

Looks like two footed, attack minded player that would rotate/cover for Jobe and Rigg (based purely on a YouTube clip like, I know nothing about him).
