Sunderland AFC U21s

Ridiculous conspiracy theory from you I'm afraid. He'll not be playing because he'll be playing in the youth Cup tomorrow

As I've said he's got a year and a half left on his pro deal anyway.

Poor stirring from you this mind
The stirring is from his agent. You think it's a coincidence that the Mail published that article at the moment the team news for an under 21 game that Trey wasn't featuring in came out?

Aye but he was never in a million years going to play in this games so who gains and what can they possibly gain from in clashing with him not being involved tonight.

It's just more publicity for the Liverpool link and getting fans to put 2 and 2 together, either the agent (or Liverpool themselves) trying to put pressure on the club. I don't think he'll leave as they would have made a move before he signed a pro contract but someone's playing silly buggers.

I'd thought first team fringe players might have got a run out like Ba, Adil, Aleksic and Rusyn

They very rarely do away.

Why not? Is the u18 cup game more important? Especially since we still have 2 perfectly capable u18 strikers other than trey. And no others the level above with waters reinjuring himself

Yes, interesting the difference between home and away team selection. Any explanation?
Still think the rule of no stream when there’s a prem match is ridiculous.

Are we playing a back 5 or a back 4?
Usual formation I think but with Johnson taking Middlemas' place in midfield, Middlemas playing where Jones normally would and Jones as the #9
Another couple of shots, one deflected wide and a header from the corner just wide.
Then another shot saved, should be more than 1 up!
