I’d have less to say about forcing Anderson out if they weren’t continuing to pick Woakes.

They've given an experienced bowler, who did well in the last Ashes (who can bat a bit) a chance to lead the attack. It hasn't worked. I would only be bothered if they didn't accept that he isn't an option.

With Stokes being fit he's the fourth seamer. Looks like we have our first 2 playing and the likes of Wood and Archer hopefully fit and firing this time next year for real pace which we desperately need. They'll perhaps be able to alternate.
