Attendance Thread - West Brom

It's not really not when we are top 2

There isn't the buzz this time round compared to pur previous promotion pushes. Football has changed and not for the better. Go up and because we haven't been a profitable club over tbe last few years we won't be allowed to spend any money on the team so we'll come straight back down or the alternative stay in this league and stagnate. It's catch 22.

Personally got no desire to sit through another 15 or 19 point season again.

Also midweek crowds are always well down here for a load of different reasons.

Agree with that

Our approach is the only way to have a chance of bridging the gap, banking on developing young players who have a high ceiling

It's a tough ask though, no doubt

A figure of 6,000 not turning up is quoted on here. There must be 6,000 season card holders who live outside Tyne and Wear and County Durham. I will excuse their non-attendance for a midweek game in November - weather or no weather.
On my way up now. No excuses- really looking forward to this one (and my first Light Show).

I'm going (ST holder), but it's on the TV and it's getting close to Christmas, so some will have to prioritise where their money is spent.

We have only sold 33 000 though, not sure if that includes away fans like

Midweek crowds are always well down with folks struggling to get there
This count doesn’t include corporate or aways.

Estimate 1,500 corporate. Maybe 500 aways, so there’s just shy of 36k. If WBA have a good number of fans this will push it up, plus the sales today.

Always a few thousand down on midweek games. If people travel long distances you can understand if they aren’t getting back home till the early hours and then up for work in the morning. It’s live on sky too. There’s a couple of older blokes with medical issues at the end of our row who always give midweek games a miss
