Sunderland AFC U21s

Well we don't currently have a right back.

Hume this weekend
Whilst I know he's a cb by trade, from what I saw the other night at Tamworth, I don't think he'd let anyone down if he came in at rb, in fact i could see him, having a career there.
He played right of 3 cb's then pushed up to right wingback last 10 minutes & got a goal.
He's Strong, physical, (their fans booed him throughout because they thought he'd been too physical with their players & deserved a booking 😂) has pace, reads the game & had the best 1st touch on the pitch. He even had a go at Walsh 2nd half, when he zipped in a pass to his feet & Walsh miscontrolled it & it went out for a throw, "1st touch Rhys, 1st touch, ffs"

Better prospect than Johnson who a lot on here rate highly

I don't think anyone is suggesting he is put straight into the first team , but he could be on the bench now as cover .
Usually would agree but like Warwick above I have seen him lots of times at CB and RB and would play him RWB at the Den.Cirkin LWB and the 3 CBS .
