Sam Fender

I liked him before. He seemed humble and down to earth. Then he went all super-Jawdee and comes across as arrogant and big headed now. Shame.
Pretty much my thoughts. When he was just creeping onto the scene, just seemed a young lad loving what was happening, came across great in interviews, some cracking early tunes such as 'Play God' and 'That Sound'. Then seemed to just go all 'professional Geordie' and a bit arrogant at times. Suppose fair enough with the way he's blown up almost overnight a couple of years ago - that's the way many go isn't it. Still like a lot of his music and think his new single is a belter even though a bit 'formula' music, but a proper catchy effort as most of his are.

No Sunderland supporter could attend a Sam Fender gig in Newcastle. It might be easier away from North East.
I've seen him at the arena and got tickets for the December gig which was restricted to a local postcode ballot. His music is decent but not looking forward to the mag love in. They were singing toon toon and Shearer songs between his songs last time

Yet the youth love him. Not my cup of tea. His two decent songs are catchy but the rest leaves me cold. He is the hero for normal kids who think he has a message and is a brilliant musician. It’s sad sad times but no one can deny he isn’t outrageously popular.
He's plugging the void.
The sax player looks like he stinks iirc.
Anly knas about three notes anarl, the manky mag twat.

If he (or his people) have any sense they will distance him from it. He might not care though.
