The forward line have just met and two of them are arguably playing in the wrong place. No issue with him trying it like. It’s a long old campaign.

But hopefully he realises we’re fortunate to be level and makes the change early tonight
 
We haven't matched them in midfield and they are strong both unnatural and defence on their left. We need to go down our left more and get our passing sorted as we are raggy. We are at risk from high balls into the box, as usual.
 
Poor that apart from odd couple of moments.

Ball isn’t sticking up top, and we've nowt on the wings either. We miss Jobe so much too.

Be tempted to get Mundle and Roberts on for Connolly and Watson sooner rather than later. At least it’s still 0-0, still confident we can come away with the win.

The referee is a little bellend as well

Preston are onto us straight away, more physical than us, so we've rarely had the space. We've gone a bit too direct clearing our lines though. I've no problem with playing over the press but we've not been able to win the ball or get onto it often enough further up the pitch.

We've also let them in too easily too often. Preston have been quite aggressive going forward and there's times when they've gone straight down our left barely being challenged and a few times had their left winger had any composure we'd have suffered.

Need to improve in most areas second half if we want to come away with anything.

Moore needlessly punched instead of catching it earlier, but has generally been solid enough.
