*~*~* Luton v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

I can't believe how much we played into their hands there.

Some suicidal stuff in possession around our own box, if we go on like that again and manage not to concede in the second half I'll just think we're going up automatically as some unknown force is guiding us there.

Chris Rigg is not a winger. I think we saw enough of that under Dodds to be certain.

As soon as we pass it out wide to our fullbacks they are all over us, if we aren't giving it away/getting tackled we are hoofing it long to Wilson who's got no chance. We need to try and push it through the middle. Browne is nowhere near anything at all at present and he was supposedly the experienced grad with a bit of bite that would help us tonight

We have to be better but these fkers have got away with murder!!
And we switched off at the end and should be one down ,
Nee yellow for morris showing clear desent
The foul on patto was a yellow as well. If you foul someone in that nature anywhere else it's a yellow

Well how can we get through another 45 minutes of that ?
Luton are pressing quickly but the ref gave us nothing there.

I reckon he's thought the offside player has touched the ball/knocked it on.

Not sure I buy that he's interfering with play, but it's pretty subjective so everyone will disagree
Agree it’s a subjective one - depends how you call “interfering”.

Don’t see how you can say it’s “robbery” if it’s a subjective call.

I can see why he didn’t give it. I could see the logic (no touch) if he did give it

Thanks for the clips by the way

Hopefully it's a bit of the old Rope a Dope and they've burned themselves out a bit, It's awful to watch but the Sunderland of old would definitely of imploded. We can definitely get a positive result tonight KTF..
