Hidden Gem towns in Spain

Denia and Javea next to each other on the Costa Blanca
One a traditional Spanish seaside town with plenty of fiestas, the other more touristic but with a great beach and promenade
Many a happy day spent there in my childhood
Nazi hiding out capital of Europe back in the day.

….Frigliana in Costa Del Sol.
Frigiliana, Nerja, Grenada,

I’m sure you all know by now about my holidays there this year and two years ago. Stunning. No matter how hot it got I could have walked around all day and night.

Though I don’t think a country in the West Indies is allowed 😂😂

But I did love Granada!

My lass has come back today from Calla Bona Majorca which apparently is on an island so I don’t know if it counts. But I saw a bit on StreetView and it does look lovely.

I absolutely adore Malaga. One of my favourite cities in the world.
Just back from the Big T. Hotels with pools are unfortunately in short supply in Malaga itself. Didn’t realise that half the people who say they’ve just been to Malaga have actually just been to The Big T.

Fancy a south of Spain trip at end November early December. Probably Seville though as weather will be turned /turning.z

What's the big T?

Again, in laws visited there a few months back, the photos looked amazing.
Apparently unbelievably hot though.
I went in a February and had three days of 10-12C and I'd only packed t-shirts. The day we flew out was 26C, obviously, and it was-6C at Stansted.

I’ve watched A Place in the Sun loads of times when Spain has been featured and they often look at properties in one particular place. I can’t remember it of the top of my head but it’s beautiful.

Stayed here recently, small rooftop pool. Very nice hotel. More a place for a special occasion than a run of the mill weekend away.

Wife and I have talked about doing a Southern Spain trip for a while. Fly to Malaga, and have a day or two each in Cadiz, Granada, Cordoba, Seville,

Obviously a lot or driving and I'm not sure what the roads are like between those places... but I've been quite taken with the cities in Spain I've been to.
