SOL expansion

Leeds sell out every week. We don't. In fact since the SoL was built it's probably been sold out for fewer than 5% of the fixtures we've played there. Expansion and more empty seats is the last thing we need.

If there's any spare money it needs invested in the team first rather than a load of seats that'll remain empty.
If our capacity was 37K we would also sell out every week.

Expanding the ground isn't ambition it's being deluded.

The club doesn't need an expansion to be successful (the definition of ambition).
The club needs to increase hospitality offering. It’s sold out and a waiting list. The only way to do it is add a stand.

It just is. Please don’t reply and say we could expand hospitality without adding a tier. You can’t. It wouldn’t make sense.

Didnt Leeds expand their corporate boxes without adding ? I’m sure they just used the front of the upper tier something we could easily do and double the executive boxes, the majority of those seats are not used regularly anyway (front of prem concourse)

Totally agree. Would be utterly pointless going to all that trouble and costs with construction just to add hospitality to the. potentially needing to do it all over again a few years down the line to add seats

One will not come without the other.
Can you imagine the pay back period if it was just an extension of seats. 20 games a year at about £25 per seat per game. Not going to happen.
However, if the ground is made bigger to create more corporate offerings and extra seats come along with it, then the capacity will increase with little risk.
55k in the Prem is a good target, given what will be happening in our city in the near future.
I’m optimistic.

I should have known better, they never fail to show up.
What’s the issue with making it easy to get into the sol? A cash or card turnstiles would make it easier for a lot of people to attend including the casual supporter who might just want to turn up on the day.

Do you like the Escape Room experience Mr Holmes?

How? Surely it would ,unless you would have to change the incline of the seating
You would basically lose the front bit of the prem concourse , not saying we should as think what Leeds done spoilt the overall look of that stand but it’s possible and prob cheapest option to add more boxes
