The young uns were down Sunniside area as well, loads of them about. Parked in St Mary’s and had a smashing view of the SOL and new bridge. Was nice to just walk around the town today and take in my surroundings more, not something you tend to do when on the drink which is what I’m usually doing when in Sunderland. Some cracking buildings. There was a high ratio of dodgepots outside Jamesons mind but that’s normal.

The Barge and Barrel/Yates didn’t look much better. Shame about that one because it’s actually a lovely building as well. Hoping the Three Stories can bridge the gap between the Keel Square end of town and Sunniside.Just left Jamesons, it's f***ing grim

I had a dodge in the Seaburn Inn for one yesterday and it was packed, struggled to get a table. I know it wasn't the City Centre but good all the same.
Weather canny yesterday mate compared to the shitshow we had during the week so can imagine people made the most of it by heading to the coast. There isn’t a better place in the north east for me on a sunny day than that stretch from Roker where the yacht club is up to the top end of Seaburn where Latimers is. Only been in the Seaburn Inn once but was impressed, another good addition to our town.
It's funny you should say that, I had a coffee in Pop Recs before the Boro game and found myself focusing more at roof level as I walked through the streets, some of the buildings have so much character, there are of course still buildings that need pulling down as well mind.The young uns were down Sunniside area as well, loads of them about. . Love wandering around the town, you notice something different every time. In answer to your question I’m not sure, but it is a bit of an eyesore if it’s the one I’m thinking of.
