*~*~* Plymouth v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Made the wrong decision a couple of times, and not as solid as we have been, but glad to be up at the break and hopeful we can pick them off to get a second.

Haven’t been quite at the same tempo today. Bit slack with the ball at times too. The international break may not have helped with momentum. Although, think we struggled a bit with Plymouth putting 10 men behind the ball. Good penalty from Roberts and hopefully we can see it out.
Think Plymouth will be forced to come out of their shell to chase the game and the lads will score another on the break.

First team we've played this season that have actually looked threatening going forward, their lad really should have done better with that chance he blazed over from about the penalty spot.

We've been the better side for pretty much all of that so far like. Look lightning quick on the counter.

Tbf to Plymouth they've done the right thing letting us have the ball in our own half. Still found space out wide at times though. Their left winger looks a threat and for that reason alone we need a 2nd goal.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but to my mind we look toothless up front. We need a bigger goal threat. Hopefully one or two of the lads we haven't seen properly can be the missing piece in the jigsaw. We could have had this game won already.
