Dogs of The SMB.

One oddity about Benji I have not mentioned is he is missing a toe on one paw.

It was an abnormal growth on the bone which kept causing cuts due to the way he would charge about after a ball. We took him to the vets for them to xray and decide, but when he was under they advised taking it off and sending it for biopsy. Thankfully it turned out to be fine.

My son was very upset and was worried that he would not be the same dog. I assured him and told him about when I had an operation it took a couple of weeks for the anaesthetic to wear off. Don't expect too much too soon.

The next morning the daft thing was bouncing around on 3 legs with a ball in his mouth as if he was saying "So, it is only one leg, come on, play time".

I liked what a friend said. With the missing toe is is permanently doing a vulcan salute.

How is the big fella?

Kind of you to ask.
He is doing well and recovered. A good judgement today when he started to swim across a lake this afternoon.🙏👍

If he could talk, and somebody asked him what he wants to be when he grew up, he'd have said "A Working Cocker Spaniel" 😁😁😁

How come he's not eating that burger on the right of the picture? 🤣🤣🤣

That’s his Reindeer 🤣🤣
He would demolish a burger 🤣

Bobs, did someone say you were a working dog??????? Is there such a thing?

Bob and Ted would get on well.
Ted loves Labs and Spaniels, in fairness he loves everybody and all dogs.
Had an old couple this afternoon wanting to take him home after making a fuss with him. He wouldn’t get in the car as was waiting for them to return to theirs.
Managed it in the end with persuasion and pushing him 🤣

I suspect that when they do meet up, you'd get home and find Bobs in the back, and I'd park up and discover a git big Lab where Bobby should be.🤣🤣🤣
