Wilson Isidor - compendium thread

'Getting ready for #PORSUN' with 3 pics of Isildur on the club twitter, wouldn't be at all surprised if he's straight in

Cast him straight into the fire, etc. Always thought there was something Mordoresque about Fratton Park.

Looked like the school 6th form bully playing in the yard with the youngens last night...😌

He got into some good positions and wasn't found by his teammates.

He looked good at the weekend... quick, skilful and keen. I think he'll do well for us wherever he plays.
That top looks like it's made of some Edwardian curtain material. Dreadful.
I personally think that all that twiddly stuff on the badge should be scrapped, along with the Latin motto and the scraggy lions. Junk all that and put some cats (panthers?) on the side; SAFC underneath; six gold stars and two red ones across the top, and voila! our new digital friendly badge.

I know it was only an U21's match but it's good to hear he was by far the best player. Compare that to Hemir who was awful even at U21 level.

Not a slant on mayenda but I'd like to see him play centrally for 25 against Plymouth with mundle left

Best case, Isidor is pretty handy either as a CF or LW so we have options. Like start him up front then shift him to wide left when Mayenda comes on for half an hour and they rip it up together. Or if Mayenda is in particularly irresistible form start them both. Or even better, if either of them look tired and/or we've got a game on a Saturday and Tuesday, one of them gets to have a rest

Not sure if it was true that he was “by far the best player”

He was obviously fast and has an excellent touch

However check Tommy Watson’s goal -that lad has pace, power as well as an accurate shot

With Mundle, Isidor and Watson the left side of our attack not obviously suffering with you-know-who’s exit
