But to me he doesn't remind me of Scholes at all.

If I was to compare him to a player in recent history, it's like a young Mesut Ozil. A long way to go for the lad yet though.

Innit, he tackles Catts but without as many fouls. He just reminded me of Scholes today, winning the ball and showed great technical ability for such a young lad. He's going to be better than Dennis wise or Graeme LeSaux though eh?

I’ve seen nothing like him at this club like. Not even exaggerating. He’s ridiculous.

I don't mean to piss on anyone's biscuits here and the lad looks absolutely immense, but this is 4 games into the season for the lad. He's only going to get better and better, but at his age I would expect his form to ebb and flow in line with the teams performances. I fully expect him to make it to the very top, but it already feels like we are getting into the territory of expecting him to pull out top level performances week in and week out.

I think we need to change our expectations of him and just let the lad play and enjoy his football.
