I was referring to you saying young players wouldn’t want to go to clubs who play hardball with fees. I know what you’re saying but they still want to move on for more money and they still go there.
OK, Hull then. They’ve held out for more for Philogene and Greaves after getting good money for Lewis-Potter

This gets said a lot but it has to be bollocks. If it wasn’t everyone could just make every subsequent deal pretty much all add ons to avoid paying the sell on. Far more likely surely that the top lawyers Spurs no doubt had to negotiate the original contract anticipated a fiddle so obvious a bunch of football supporters could come up with it and covered it off.
