Reckon it will be the Croatian lad and a loan for this random Wilson blowk and that'll be our lot? I think plenty would say they've spent the Clarke money at that point.

I'm not convinced we aren't going to spend. I have no idea what you mean or what you're trying to imply. We're likely going to spend now, as a result of selling Clarke. That potentially will be reduced by both the add ons and the sell on percentage before you even get to the "extra 5m".

Nah it won’t, it’s still great money at this level. No one was bidding higher clearly either.
 
They did the unthinkable last season. No one, including themselves at the start, expected them to do it. People thought they’d ‘do a Sunderland’ but not automatics.

They took a risk and it paid off. Many clubs have taken similar risks and are fucked.

Good for them but can’t really use their special achievement as a stick to beat our club with. It’s like saying Leicester won the prem why didn’t we?

I predict we’ll get one, maybe two of the rumoured inbound signings and maybe one out of nowhere who hasn’t been mentioned yet, and that will be it.

You said you 20 million is fair, we only get 15 million which is still dependent on 5 million of add ons which are not guaranteed , we have sold him far less than his market value and you know that.
 
Fair play to Ipswich they had a good start last season and backed it up in January. Us the season before on the other hand.
They were looking to replace the manager for getting us 2 games off the prem.

We were supposed to get his fee in annual instalments but we asked them for an advance so £10m became more like £7m. KLD did that just to pay the bills
