Jack Clarke

If the fee is £15m plus add ons. Spurs are taking 40%x £15m so we would only get £9m. I would assume that Spurs could also be entitled to 40% x £5m add ons, which we possibly won’t even see if they are all or even part based upon Ipswich staying up
Where has this 40% figure come from? I doubt the exact sell on clause is public knowledge

It is. I’ve just said on a previous post, I think that’s Em’s reaction to it rather than his - just passing on what info I’ve been given mysel

I’m quite surprised he’s agreed to go to Ipswich because he’s previously said he didn’t want to go south again.

As good as. We've accepted a £20m offer from Ipswich, this includes £5m add ons and we owe Spurs 20% apparently, so we're looking at 12m excluding add ons.
That's a great shame if true. 20m on the face of it is a good price but like you say it's the other bits and bobs. What if the Spurs 20% has clauses, England call ups etc? Of course we'll ever know as it will be one of these 'non disclosed' scenarios.

25% of profit

Summerville went for £20m plus add ons and was the PFA player of the championship. Completely gutted Clarke has gone, but they’ve been listening to offer all summer and this was the most we could get. I’m guessing he was offered a new contract that he didn’t want to sign so rock and hard place…

Hard to believe Clarke is happy to leave for a club who realistically are dead certs to be relegated. Ipswich will be back in the Championship next season so where’s the progression for him?

He must have a say in his future he’s not just a commodity to be traded, he owns the rights to his own intellectual property ( him in effect ). He has a contract so he could refuse and sit on the bench if he wanted even though we know that wouldn’t happen as he’s the best player at the club.

If he goes then that raises questions about his ambition or his financial ambition.

Erm, yes, you are guessing there
