Jack Clarke

He was the one player who we knew at some point would deliver. We now have no one.
Roberts is very good technically but needs to improve his end product.
I just hope someone steps up but I can’t see it at all.

I hope these two players come in and show some quality like Jack has.

We’ll miss you Jack and I hope it works out for you and it’s not another spurs moment. You were loved here but it is what it is.

I’ll watch you on undr the Cosh in the future😂

Joking a side it’s going to be a huge test for him but we’ll see how good his defensive work is.

Maybe the future sell on % is the pivotal thing in all this, yes it feels like we’ve had our pants pulled down now, but the likelihood is that Ipswich will get relegated, If we have a 40% sell on fee and he is sold for 60m next year, that could justify the piss poor selling price now,

Well the price is whatever someone is willing to pay. We clearly couldn't get better, although if you'd rather keep him and then potentially see him go on a free then fair enough, certainly think there's merit to it.
I never said anything about him leaving on a free. However, he is by far our best footballer and has played a massive part in our good start.
Receiving £11m is pitiful

Gents, just sit back for a minute, we have lost our best player for a fee that is let’s be totally honest which is beyond a joke in todays market to a club who where recently playing in L1.We played them literally 12 months ago, a club who have shown proper ambition and leadership from the very top and reaped their rewards. Hope the money is worth it KLD our chances of going up I would suggest have just been reduced by at least 30%

Why does it matter if they were in L1. They’re now a premiership club

The same people who backed selling Stewart last year because it was the necessary sale needed to kick the recruitment on a level (it emphatically didn’t) will now be arguing the same again.

I’m not mad Clarke’s gone, he earned his second chance at the Premier League.

But he was worth more than that to us and accepting such a poor offer suggests we’re desperate.
Selling Stewart was the correct call at the time, this is a totally different situation however. Baffling decision from the club to sell our best player for a total of 12 million quid with a week left of the transfer window.

We finished near the relegation side because we had Dumb and Dumber on the touchline though. And when Dumber got sacked it was Dumb left still on the touchline.

Clarke isn’t all that in fairness, he tries to cut inside literally all the time he’s becoming too predictable.

When Trippier just stood still because he knew exactly what was happening next was a sad sight
Clarke is absolutely brilliant. Calm head, hardly ever loses the ball, assists and scores, phenomenal workrate. Our best player by a mile. Will be a huge miss
