Jack Clarke

Sorry like I knew he was always going to be away, but the fee is f***ing insulting when you see what other championship clubs have sold players for. We should have been demanding proper kick on money.

Well he will financially for starters. And he’ll have the opportunity to put himself in the shop window for bigger and better things. For him, it’s no brainer. A good contract and top flight football.

For Ipswich, they’ve got a player with potential for a decent fee that might come good in the top flight. If so, he can help keep them up and / or make them profit. If they go down and he’s a bit short of quality in that division, they’ve a top second tier player still on their books with parachute payments to play with.

For Sunderland, they’ve money in the bank, proof of financial sustainability and good FFP books and the opportunity to go and buy three unproven bairns that might make a few quid profit in three years time.

It’s a deal that works for all parties except Sunderland supporters.

Oh, and Spurs and Ian Harte make a few bob as well.
He already had a chance to put himself in the shop window. He's now going to a side that'll struggle to win a game. His choice I suppose.

We dont know the price or add ons ffs stop being divas man it was always going to happen this window but can i just say the wums who said he signed a 2 year deal etc.
Sod off tbh.
