Jack Clarke

It's not a move that would appeal to me but Clarke will get a hefty pay rise. If I were him I'd try and get 100k a week from them because he'll be taking a pay cut when they get relegated.

The other way to look at it is by selling Clarke that could potentially allow them to bring in four more players (Isodor, Simic, midfield player and a right back).

That would still obviously leave a very large Clarke shaped hole at left wing but if Isodor has played there often in a three man front line, maybe there’s an option they’re looking at.

All conjecture which will doubtless rumble on until 11pm on 30.08.24
It's been quite an experience to realise that we are currently more or less a one man team. Without him last year, we may have even been relegated.

Now they have to consider whether we fix that over reliance on 1 player with a striker or 2 and a right back, or if funds allow, to really go for it and supplement having Clarke. I'm not convinced that we have the funds for the latter.

Unfortunately, the job of an agent is to make a player as much money as possible, get them to the biggest stage possible, and carve out a nice chunk for themselves. This isn't new, nor is he the most ruthless agent out there.
Lives in the shadow of the bigger agents and likes to think he is a wonder agent, he isn’t and will need a personality reset to be a big guy:

Harte will be loving this the rat.

Constantly posting shite on X feeding the rumours even outside transfer windows.

I'm not sure the club will buy another left winger, if he goes. They may think we already have players for there, Mundles, Rusyn and possibly Watson getting game time.
Surely to God not? If Mundle if his replacement then I really don’t know what to say.
I know some rate him but I’ve seen absolutely nothing to convince me there’s a top end Championship winger there. I’d love to be proved wrong, of course but can’t see it.

Wouldn’t surprise me
Gives a bit of credence to the deal “agreed” rumors. Find out what we are willing to pay him, so he can make an informed decision about any potential move. If nothing materializes that is more appealing than our offer, sign here when the window closes.

The head coach literally said in his press conference today that they are actively looking at replacements should Clarke leave

He still has 2 years. 15 million is a fee that could be considered this time next year if we didn’t go up and Jack didn’t sign a new contract. Be madness to consider 15 million now considering we would loose 25% of that. He’s worth a lot more to us now than a poxy 11-12 million.

It’s time to say thanks for the memories, but when a club with genuine ambition compared to balancing the books via ‘Speakman’s model’ comes calling this is inevitable.
KLD needs to do one.
