Wilson Isidor - compendium thread

Some people would have you believe that as he’s being paid in Russian dollar, he’s complicit in the war, even aiding and abetting in it
Can you let us know the actual position of all parties, is money to be paid, any transfer to Russia or held in escrow somewhere until the war is done and sanctions are lifted etc? I'd be interested and it'd help form an opinion.

To be honest, I couldn’t give a shiny shite what the arrangement is. It’s football, not politics. As long as he comes and scores goals that’s all I care about. Nowt else.

Take it you've not been slagging the mags off about their owners at any point?

Genuine question - dunno what you've posted in the past and not sad enough to start dredging around

Where do you draw the line on that then? Like, is the *only* barometer for wanting people involved with the club that they make us win more?

No moral stuff at all?

Poor taste in my opinion. There are other players, would rather not do business with them at all.

This. All those taking the moral high ground won't give a shite if he scores goals that help us get promoted.
I'm not taking any high ground cos I don't know anything about the deal, but if we are paying Russia then aye I will give a shite. Won't stop me wanting him to score 30 goals a season for us, cos it's nowt to do with him as a footballer - I just don't want us paying the Russians.
