Jack Clarke

Maybe they should use some of that revenue to pay back the people they owed when they went bankrupt. Small time club only in existence since 2007, talking about a club with history, league titles, FA Cup winners and never been bankrupt.

The players sold had release clauses and Leeds couldn’t stop them, club with by far the biggest revenue in league with 49ners\ redbull backing them, they have money since satisfying PSR in June, red bull put £60mill into them with another 60 mill from them next season
40m should be no problem for the 49ers/red bull then.

Tbf this fan forum have plenty thinking they experts on Leeds with thinking Leeds owed 190 mill when they have brought in £156mill in on their accounts this yr but only had to pay out 70 mill before end of June which they did, finance guys say they have plenty to spend without it being problem regarding PSR
if I’d suggested that all Boro or Leeds fans were obsessive about Clarke and him leaving us then you may have a point……I haven’t it’s directed solely at one poster.

I don't see the appeal of Leeds and any of the PL newcomers or perennial struggles for Clarke.

Stay with us and he'll be a PL player sooner rather than later
I’m not saying anything new here like, but it doesn’t feel like a particularly positive move. They’ve probably got a better chance than us of being promoted right now, but they could quite easily not get promoted. If I was Jack Clarke, I’d be holding out for the right Premier League move rather than taking a chance of getting there. It’s not inconceivable that Leeds might not get promoted anytime soon, or, get promoted & relegated immediately.

Just feels like it’s a needless risk if he’s intent of forwarding on his career.

What’s the highest fee ever paid by a championship club?

If someone like Leeds paid £25m and failed to get up, they might be in trouble. He’d be off again in 12 months.

Havent we all been resigned to loosing Clarke this year!
It’s all about price! We will see who wants him the most. This could be the player that unlocks investment across the rest of the pitch. I think the club belive they have Clarke replacement in Mundle at the club (whether you agree or not).

One thing we can say for the las is that he won’t down tools he looks like he is enjoying his football with us and the other lads. However as his contract ticks down we have less bargaining power so there will be a sweet spot for the club and the player which we aren’t far from IMO

Lesser club that brings in 3 times more revenue on match days and has financial monsters in 49ners and redbull backing them and nearly 30k on a season ticket waiting list that has been capped, come out the safc bubble
Oooo another undercover Leeds shagger

Can Leeds realistically spend 25m on Clarke?
I know they’ve just received a big fee for Summerville.

I don’t think anyone will match our valuation, we’ll probably want 18m up front and 7m add ons with a sell on clause ourselves.

Have full confidence in our club getting the best deal tbf. Heartbreaking if the lad goes.
