Boro freakLeeds is a sideways move at best?
He'd be in a better team, with a higher chance of promotion.
And Leeds will no doubt offer him a substantial pay increase.
It's nowhere near a sideways move

Leeds wouldn’t be a good move for him. It’s a side ways step IMO. PointlessStarting to get dangerous now.
He's clearly not going to sign a new contract. He'd be a fool to do so.
So if he leaves this month, then a replacement is looking less and less likely by the hour.
If he doesn't leave this month, his transfer value drops with the fact his contract is running out, with only 2 years left on his deal.
Leeds would be a very good move for him. They need someone to replace Summerville and although Clarke isn't as good (and to be fair, they were never going to replace Summerville with someone of the same standard), he's a very able replacement. They are also in a decent position to gain promotion. PL football with Leeds is much more likely than if he stays.
if premier league teams are interested it would very much be a sideways move to stay in the championship, nonsense.Leeds is a sideways move at best?

The squads, the experience and the managerial team.Based off what?
Agree. That might upset the applecart more than it should. But I imagine Leeds will reinvest some of that transfer money, in the next couple of weeks. Their squad is still decent for a top 6 finish and a couple of signings, they'll be right in the mix for the top 2, again. They’ve lost a lot of their better players
Farke has gained promotion out of this division on a number of occasions.manager wise who knows he’s done well in this division and failed too like last season. Reggie is an unknown just like carrick was when he took over and done well since.
He still has two years left. If he stays another year his value will drop, but we would still make a profit selling him next year.Starting to get dangerous now.

How'd yous get on at the weekend? You come across as a little bitter and upset. And that price is only going in one direction.
If the window shuts and he's not sold...then he'll be linked again to clubs in January, but his value won't be the same as it is now.
The only way that price goes up, is if he signs a new contract.

Reggie has a relegation on his CV and that's pretty much it.
That's a big if.if premier league teams are interested it would very much be a sideways move to stay in the championship, nonsense.
He’s still not going to move to Leeds hun, you need to come to terms with that. I know it’s difficult to understand for you.Sunderland can't afford to let him run down his contract.
In contrast, Sunderland are a middling Championship club.
Leeds are skint and likely to be chasing playoffs same as us. No reason to leave a club where hes happy and playing well just to join a playoff rival. its a non starterThat's a big if.
Only Ipswich and Southampton have had any decent sort of interest? And since then, they've signed other players - Ipswich Szmodics and Saints with Brereton-Diaz and Archer?
Both could still come in for Clarke.
But if neither do, then moving to Leeds would still be more beneficial to Clarke than staying.
The only other reason for Clarke to stay, would be thinking he likely has more options come next summer or 2026 when he's free.
Leeds aren’t going to shag you mateLeeds is a sideways move at best?

Or the fact he likes it here and has faith we might have a play off push this year. That's a big if.

Just said the same thingI’ve said for a while that the lad will move in, he deserves a shot at premier league football and he has been brilliant for us, model professional.
However he will only go if a team meets our valuation of him, if they don’t I’d be delighted to keep him as he clearly makes us a better team.
The level of interest from Boro fans on this is off the scale…..lads the Leeds fans aren’t gonna shag you
Wrong againThat's a big if.
