Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)

He played against us for Donny and won couple weeks after we sold him i think. We had crap like Conor mclouglin, Callum Mcfazdean etc playing games when we had young like him on probably a fraction of their wages who should of been given Game time

No he doesn’t nobody is an automatic pic he was poor last season made alot of mistakes alese and onien look like a very balanced partnership both pacey and good on the ball
I agree with this, absolutely. You can’t break-up a partnership that has kept two clean sheets.
I’m all for a right footer and left footer which they are so it’s Ballard’s place to win back

He was. Dan is great at attacking the high balls played into our box, better than Alese and Luke but some way behind O9 when it comes to using the ball. It's a trade off scenario isn't it. What's more important to us?
All 3 will have an important part to play. Gradually bring back Ballard and I think he will partner O'nien again . Alese is the one more prone to injury but he is the player more flexible in that he can cover not only cb but also at left back. I honestly think we benefit more with O'niens range of passing, it would be harsh on him to be dropped, he is also chipping in at the other end of the field.

Agreed. Alese was beaten in the air a couple of times but he was attacking the high balls a lot more today, continue to develop the lad while it's working. Play the lads in form until it dips, earn the shirt.

Is Ballard not injury prone like?

What's the chance that this thread goes back to topic today and there is news about Mendy incoming. What we need is @Vauxie to use his Nostradamus skills and predict which day this week Mendy will sign 🙃

I think he will sign this week personally. Looks like that Niang is very close to joining Caen and it’s a pure like for like replacement
