From a quick scan of this thread, your posting style/language seems to get on the tits of a number of different posters.

Ermmm yeah that’s ditto of the guy leaving laughing emojis on everyone of my posts for the last 6 months and ridiculing everything I say because it’s of a different opinion to him he’s in a little clique that’s why it appears that way and I could get a lot of people together also saying the same about his posting style if I could be arsed . It would of been done by now IF we weren't (apparently) so shite or tight at getting our man (any man for that matter)

It's 4million euros they want not pounds, so roughly £3.4m. The 1million euros we've offered equates to about £850k.
I said earlier 3 million euros (2.6 million pounds) would surely land him, possibly less. He's the man we've identified & i don't think that's a ridiculous price even given his age so I can't understand why we don't just get it done. We've surely left it too late to move on to another target anyway.

I have no idea regarding values in the French leagues but, strikers in our second tier are probably around that mark - the lad going to Boro, for example.
Probably seems about right, seeing as they aren’t skint any more.

Much more costly here generally . Stewart for example might be comparable as “ proven” goal scorer at this level. Ligue 2 don’t often go for anywhere near the prices here. At 30 I’d say 2.75 m euro is about top whack.

If that's the case they should have just signed a journeyman like Jamal Lowe on a free. They're saying 'it's a difficult market' but it's only as difficult you make it. Just get the best player in you can for the budget you have. It's like every window we walk into waitrose expecting to pay aldi prices turn our noses up & go home & tell the kids there's nowt for tea as it was a 'difficult supermarket' despite the fact there was an aldi on the way home & we could have just got something from there.
