Some good 16s coming through. Feeling really positive for the 18s this season. The second year scholars have always been a talented bunch and there’s still a lot of quality there even though Rigg,Young & Cotcher have moved on. I’d expect quite a few of them to be pushing for the 21s.
A good preseason with a win and a draw against Southampton and Fulham last weekend too.

Was a massive learning curve for lads last year with our squad being very young agree on the players missed in the u18 last year would include Trey also who played mostly 21 .. it’s all about development but agree it’s been a good preseason from the games I have viewed

Jordan is a good Sunderland lad.
 
Shame the academy twitter have stopped doing the lineups recently after they did them beginning of the season. 12.05pm they appeared on BBC and PL website doesnt do them anymore
