Really minor annoyances

Fire alarm tests. 11am every Friday. Quietly on the phone late morning and it sounds like the luftwaffe are overhead.

Cheers lads. The person I was on the phone to put it down and now I have ringing in my ears.
 

In my job, if I need to ask someone if they have their mobile with them as I need to send them a code. Always pensioners and always reply " I'll just go and get it and switch it on". They always leave it turned off. Why?.

I don’t have friends like that - or any that I talk to about music anyway. The missus can’t understand why I listen to music to actually find out if I like it, or simply to discover what it’s about or whether I like something I’ve not heard before. She says ‘I don’t like this’ and I say ‘I don’t think I do either’ and she says ‘then why are you listening to it?’ And when I say ‘to find out if I like it or not, and because I’m interested’ she gets all funny with me.

I find, however, on here, that if somebody doesn’t like something they generally say ‘it’s crap’. For example; there are many pop artistes who, although I don’t like them, I can appreciate they have really good bands. P!nk has a really good live band, Dua Lipa had a good band at Glastonbury. I’ll see an act on telly and notice the bass player or the drummer is good. Many pop artistes us excellent session musicians and (great producers)… but to some on here it’s all ‘shite’

Because the hardly ever use it so the battery just dies?
 
Corporate email phishing tests the week you've just started at the company and all they've had you do all week is sign up/in to various platforms and apps that you've never heard of.

Also having a start date weeks in advance, you turn up on day one and not only have they not sorted you a desk space, they've forgotten to get you a laptop. Happens every time.

Tuna is a fish tbf

However my daughter said she hates seafood and a few days ago she demolished my oysters then followed it with an adult portion of moules. The greedy little shit. Had to reorder.
