Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)

The player isn't going to play for them again. He said his goodbye's to the club and supporters.

Well, let's face it. If Regis hadn't have gotten his former club relegated, there's a good chance we could have still been looking for a Head Coach to go alongside the never-ending striker hunt!

They like to give the impression of a Swan, seen to be calm and graceful on top of the water, whilst flapping like fuck underneath it!

it's very rare when a player pushes for a move as much as he is that it doesn't happen like, I still expect him to be here

He did score in pre season.

He also hit the post, had one disallowed and iirc won 2 penalties.

I don't think he's the answer but he didn't have a bad preseason

What's very rare is a club changing ownership whilst seemingly agreeing a fee and a move, that's now been pretty much thrown in the bin.

His agents statement to me read like they've put a line under it. It doesn't mention any hope of further negotions or the deal being upheld by the Mbappe's. Someone just said Mensy had said his goodbyes to the club and fans, but that may have been when a deal was in place, which quite clearly isn't the case now.

nah mendy released a statement just days before saying he doesn't want to play for them again and has said his goodbyes and that he won't be mentally ready as in his mind he's gone

Lads I work with are Peterborough fans and they say it. Runs about all day, pace to burn etc but lacks composure and misses hat fulls of chances. May as well stick with mayenda if we just want a pressing forward.

the thing is though RJJ has a lot of experience in games behind him and scored double figures so whether he misses the odd few or not it's still better than what we have by a mile. He's also only 21 and has played 150 games in the EFL

And knowing macanthony he'd probably want 2 or 3m for him. I'd sooner spend that on someone who knows where the net is. Who's to say the young lads we already have on our books won't get better with league game time.
