Support our City Centre - Sunderland

After all the chaos of last weekend, I think it's time to give our city's economy and outlook a boost.

Whether it’s going out for a meal, having a few drinks, watching a movie, bowling, or shopping...

Who's in?
Was there Saturday spending at local businesses. Will be there on Saturday too for Fleetwood mac gig, spend before on food/drink. I'm the most pro sunderland as a place person your likely to meet. Shame about the football team ;)

I’m actually pissed off that I’m out on Saturday, but through Newcastle…..first time in ages, but it’s the central meeting point.

I shall make a point of going out to the pictures and some tea tomorrow to compensate.

I was in sheepfolds about 2 this afternoon and it was quite busy. Food places seemed to be doing well. Hopefully continues. Be choss when footbridge opens. I still say there should be a tram from sheepfolds down to Roker along Dame Dot.

We did it last weekend despite the anxiety of some of our group. Beers in the Keel Tavern on Saturday then on to the Moti Raj for a long booked family. Sunday, beers in Tavern again (she likes it in there) then off to the Fire Station for a great afternoon/evening watching Ibiza in Symphony in the brilliant Parade Ground

Sunderland is a city on an upward trajectory and last Friday will not change that

Our business is on Grey Street, we’ve decided to close on Saturday

I'll go to the pictures with you if anything decent on but don't fancy bowling it's shite :)
All seriousness good idea 👍

Going away on holiday (pathetic etc) otherwise would be out this weekend. Have been in town today contributing though.

Currently supping Champagne in the rather shit SFO BA Lounge, cannot wait to go out when i get home tomorrow. Are there any Farage Riots planned tomorrow as was planning to get the metro with the scratters back from the airport tomorrow.
