Mate I wouldn’t advice it’s hell on earth not what I call a holiday 13 dollars for a bud light every meal like 300 quid foods f***ing rank as well the whole things just a total rip off it’s so expensive over there now 100 degrees walking about with a backpack for 2 weeks isn’t a holiday

I just want to go to Harry Potter World.

The rest can do one.

whats the average commute to the parks? i think the attraction of being in a disney is probably clouded by staying at paris and its walkable to the hotels where non of the american ones are so if its 25 mins back to a disney hotel or 25 mins drive to a villa like you say is it worth it for a big group

edit just had another quote in

5 minutes to Hollywood Studios and 10 minutes from Epcot from CBR.

Similar to MK and Epcot from the monorail hotels.

I think the rest are buses.

It's hugely more convenient to just nip back to resort for a swim, or to shower etc. Car park to gate can be a canny distance so factor that into drive times.

Staying in a villa has its own advantages too though.

Shop around and can be miles cheaper. Like what I’m paying next year. £2431.31 for 4 of us.
It’s not the flights and the off site hotels that are ridiculous.
It’s the park tickets, on site hotels and food in the parks that really cause the prices to explode.

Oh aye, we’ve look at on site a few times but just don’t think worth the amount of money.

Park tickets ain’t bad when you factor in fact you’d usually be paying to do something every day for 14 days. So 40 a day is spot on considering walk up prices are 100s, saying that I can remember when ATD freedom passes (Disney, universal, seaworld, Busch) were only £595pp 😂

Staying onsite was loads cheaper a few years back. They've been allowed to take the piss because of the backlogs following the pandemic.

Looking on Reddit at least us in uk have reasonable prices compared to them in USA imo. Seeing some prices for 5 days is eye watering.

Our first time staying on site last year. Will never stay on site again.

There wasn't much we didn't like staying onsite, we have little (if any) complaints from our whole stay.

The price is just horrific.

When we go again we will be staying in a villa or on International Drive.

We always used to stay on I drive and just walk to seaworld for the bus to Disney or walk to universal. Now I’ve kids I find LbV a better place for us location wise, but saying that I reckon we might splurge for CBR in 2026 mainly for skyliner access and youngest be 2 maybe 3 when go so afternoon bed sleeps maybe on cards. Probably change mind again as realise the cost and money could be spent on another holiday elsewhere 😂

CBR is well worth it with young kids.

Think I mentioned before I went a couple times there as a kid. Can remember cycling round the lake, sleeping on hammocks on the beach and heading off to the parks on me own very early in morning to get on rides before everyone else. Just had a look now and it’s 5x the amount we paying for same dates next year 😂
